Overview
RehabApp is a product we built for RehabApp, Inc. It helps substance abuse rehabilitation facilities manage beds, reservations, and day-to-day operations. They needed a mobile app for facility owners and a team who could build and run the entire mobile product. That's where we came in. Once the mobile app was live, we took on their admin web app too: a full rework with a fresh look and hardened features, delivered in 8 weeks against a 5-month plan.
The Challenge
There was no mobile engineering foundation in place: no CI/CD, no GitHub workflows, no Jira processes, and a cloud setup that was costing far more than it should. The app needed to be production-grade, maintainable, and extensible by a team with no prior mobile experience. The admin web app that staff relied on every day had its own problems: a dated interface and features that needed hardening, with a rework scheduled to take five months.
Our Role
We stepped in to build and run the mobile product, writing the React Native app from the ground up while establishing the engineering infrastructure around it. We set up GitHub workflows and branch protection, configured CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments, and restructured the cloud architecture to eliminate wasteful spend. Throughout, we documented and mentored the client's team so the work stays maintainable long after any single release. For the admin web app, one designer and one engineer working with AI-assisted workflows reworked the product end to end, shipping the first working version in 8 weeks.
Achievements
Engineering infrastructure from zero
Before we joined, there were no formal engineering processes. We introduced GitHub workflows with branch protection and PR reviews, set up Jira for sprint planning, and built a CI/CD pipeline that automated builds, tests, and deployments. The team could ship without fear.
80% cloud cost reduction
By auditing the existing cloud architecture and identifying over-provisioned resources and inefficient data transfer patterns, we restructured the infrastructure to match actual usage. The result was an 80% reduction in monthly cloud spend, savings that compound every month.

The admin web app is where facility staff do their daily work, and it needed a fresh look and much better, hardened features. The rework was planned as a 5-month project. A designer and an engineer from Mono, working with AI-assisted workflows, delivered the first working product in 8 weeks, with senior people making every design and engineering decision along the way.
